Sascha Jakubenko
Sascha Jakubenko is a documentary filmmaker and visual artist based in Berlin. Their work moves between film, photography and drawing, making space for human connection, vulnerability and transformation.
Their recent documentary film NAKED AUTISM explores questions of friendship, identity and self-determination in the context of autism through close personal encounters. Sascha is also the parent of the artistic collective CADAVRE EXQUIS and the life drawing community NAKED ARTISTS – two collaborative projects centered around artistic experimentation and exchange.
Across their work, Sascha is interested in practices that begin with curiosity, empowerment and genuine connection. What can emerge when people feel safe enough to be seen?
